For Adult Volunteers In the event that inappropriate behaviour is displayed by a volunteer or coach a discussion and warning shall be given and the volunteer should be reminded of their responsibilities and the clubs code of conducts, by an appropriate senior person such as a chairman or CCC. If abuse by an Adult Volunteer toward a playing child is disclosed suspected or detected, this should be reported immediately to the clubs safe guarding officer and the appropriate chairman and the procedures outlined under the clubs and RFU Child Protection Procedures followed. In all cases, confidentiality must be maintained to the highest degree possible. For Spectators or Parents In the event of inappropriate behaviour by Spectators or parents (abuse of referees, foul language from the touchline, etc.) it is the responsibility of the team and its management to have a word with the person involved and remind them of the clubs code of conducts. If it continues they are required to bring this to the attention of the appropriate Chairmen or committee. A meeting will be called with the parent(s) in order to identify the problem and seek a commitment that such behaviour shall not be repeated. In the event that this inappropriate behaviour is repeated, the parent(s) may, at the sole discretion of the appropriate Chairmen, be banned from the ground for a period from two weeks to the balance of the season Disciplinary Hearings The disciplinary committee will convene when any club representative behaves in an inappropriate manner. This will include: A player who receives either a yellow or red card during a match or a red card during training; Any player, coach, official or spectator who acts inappropriately during a match (abuse to the referee, opposition players or officials; use of foul or abusive language etc); Any club representative who brings the game or club name into disrepute through their actions away from a game situation, such as; abuse to opposition players, officials or members of the public; use of foul or abusive language in a public area; displaying inappropriate levels of violence towards any member of the club, opposition or the public; encouraging anyone under the age of 18 to consume alcohol. This list indicates the type of incident that would require the disciplinary committee but is not exhaustive. The disciplinary panel meeting will look to be held at the earliest convenient time, but preferably within 1 week of the incident concerned, this will ensure that the incident is fresh in everyones memory and will also appease the RFU disciplinary panel if the incident involved a red card situation and resultant ban from playing. The senior disciplinary panel will consist of the following people: Club President Honorary secretary Club Captain The junior disciplinary panel will consist of the following people: Mini/midi or youth chairman Junior secretary Safe guarding officer Head coach or CCC The following would also be required to attend the meeting The individual(s) concerned Any witnesses to the incident (if required) A representative to support the individual (if required) The Disciplinary Committee shall have the power in the case of members to exclude (either temporarily or permanently) or stop them taking part in competitions, games or festivals. If it involves an adult (coach, assistant, helper or Committee Member), it shall have the power to exclude (either temporarily or permanently) or request they carry out further training (any costs for such training shall be borne by the club). If the case involves a junior member (as a plaintiff, defendant or witness), a parent or guardian must be in attendance. If the behaviour of a junior member is in question a meeting should be considered with the playing childs parents in order to try and resolve the problem and an agreement on behavioural limits be agreed with the player and his parents. In the event that this agreement is broken the child may, be suspended for a period from one week to the balance of the season. It is not intended to rely on exclusion as a remedy but the disruption of one individual cannot be allowed to affect the others. $%4?Jx ( 7 o ǵǵǵǣǵmmmYm&haCB*H*OJQJ^JnH phtH #haCB*OJQJ^JnH phtH #h]B*OJQJ^JnH phtH #h({3B*OJQJ^JnH phtH #h`B*OJQJ^JnH phtH #h?
