We believe that, at the first instance, disciplinary action concerning a Mini or Junior Rugby player requires a sensitive approach - if necessary involving the Person in Charge appointed under the Child Welfare procedures - before reference to the Clubs Disciplinary Committee. Disciplinary Procedure The Mini & Youth Rugby Committee will carefully examine any report of misbehaviour by a player or coach, at Summers Lane or elsewhere and either on the field of play or off. A report of the findings will be forwarded to the main Disciplinary Committee of the Club. Players sent off by a referee or Coaches reported during a Mini, Junior or Senior Colts match should expect a report being made by the match official. Such reports are recorded against the Clubs overall disciplinary record, and the Middlesex County RFU may also become involved. Players and Coaches should recognise that matters related to incidents that occur away from the field of play may affect an individuals perception of Finchley RFC. Misbehaviour on a coach, bus or any other vehicle taking players or spectators to an away venue is unacceptable. Any distraction of the driver could threaten the life of all those travelling. Following any report received in connection with young players, the Mini Junior Committee will establish a panel to conduct an investigation and report thereon. Dependent on the circumstances, this panel may include the designated Person in Charge under the Child Welfare provisions. Discipline in Mini Rugby From the Continuum If the referee decides to send a player off, he / she must stop the match, call the individual player aside from the other players and invite the coach of that player on to the field. The referee must explain to the coach and the player why he / she feel that the players behaviour is unacceptable, and instruct the coach to provide a substitute. That player is to take no further part in that match, tournament or festival. It is the responsibility of the coach to speak to and educate the player as to why he / she was sent off. ,-% & D \ ] k l m n 3 4 5 6 5HIGKdiξζζζζζζζζζζΡΌΌzhls0JCJhfM0JCJaJhls0JCJaJhls5CJ\aJhls5CJ\hfMCJaJhfMhlsCJaJhls0JB*CJOJQJph hlsCJhls6B*]phhls0J6B*]phhls0JB*CJOJQJphhls-,-& ( C E \ ] l n 4 6 5HIihi,1h.
